Dear Colleagues and Friends, It is Valentine Season and a ideal time to spread your 
love around. SOCM success principle # 19 is "have consistent promotional activities". 
You should already have your promotions planned out for the entire year. We plan 
Patient Parties 6 times a year to promote and have fun.It greatly increases your patient 
volume that day and helps "create a vacuum". We also use them to support some 
outside cause. Past Valentines we collected Stuffed Animals and took them into 
Nursing homes and personally handed them out. This year we decided to Support Dr. 
Bobbi Dauscher at the Oklahaven Children's Chiropractic Center. She is the "Mother 
Teresa" of Chiropractic. There is no Chiropractor that has more difficult children cases 
than Dr. Bobbi. She takes in Cerebral Palsy, paralysis,blind,deaf, and etc. Most of 
them have already exhausted their funds, because of medicine. One child had medical 
bills of over 1 million dollars. Their insurance paid only 80%, leaving the family still 
owing over 200,000 dollars. These children come from all over the world because of 
Dr. Bobbi's undying faith in Chiropractic. Oklahaven runs on a very tight budget.                             
We started handing out flyers to each patient February 1st. The Doctor orally asks each 
patient to paticipate in the fund raiser and please come to our Valentine's Day Party. It 
will be scheduled as an extra visit " Just for the Health of it" and it is on us. Be sure to 
come "hungry", because there will be lots of food.  We have a large felt covered board 
in the reception area which we use for all our fund raisers.  We just change the color 
felt for the occassion. We have 5$(small) and 10$(large) laminated hearts that we put 
on the board with the patients name labeled on it.We also made a 2 minute video with a 
regular home video camera explaining what and why we were doing. We spliced it in 
between Dr. Bobbi's video over and over which is only 10 minutes long. This video is 
awesome showing pre and post treatment. The first day we played this video we 
collected 140$. But my patients are used to giving, because they have been giving for 
years. This is also an ideal time to love our patients more. This means love them from 
down deep in your heart. Put aside your fears and let the love out. This doesn't mean 
that you have to touch them more( which some need very badly). It means you have to
