Valentines Day Office growth is easily assisted when holidays which enhance family and wellness can be promoted. Valentines is a perfect time when we can share appreciation for those we hold dear and who influence our daily life. What better time to include our patients and community. You probably have a Valentines Promotion if you have an active marketing program or attend practice management seminars. Hopefully you will reap the rewards for your efforts. Those not so inclined or who feel that promotion and marketing is beneath them, well, you promote all the time. We provide an excellent examination after listening to a thoughtful consultation and then package a report of findings to capture the patient and plug them into our office routine and care. Thatıs one hell of a PR job. If we wish our office to grow from within without spending excess money on advertising, weıll probably ask for referrals and hopefully offer educational programs for others to attend increasing patient and community awareness. Dr. Pete Fernandez has a Practice Starters program and has every client survey 3000 people in their community. It sure cures the DC of any comfort zone issues and most important has created awareness that money canıt buy. Shaking hands, providing business cards, answering questions, being available for business ergonomic or general public health and wellness workshops as well as public screenings is an obvious windfall from this aggressive but effective public relations tool. The more people you meet the more people you will greet. Just imagine meeting hundreds of people and handing out cards and asking if they would be interested in specific workshop topics, a complimentary evaluation or chiropractic care. By the time you open that new office or jump start the existing office, the phone will be ringing off the hook, you have an immediate e-mail list of potential patients and an active campaign to keep your office in their minds at all times. Heart to heart, what better Valentines Gift can you give someone than a Gift of Health? Itıs not too late to begin a campaign promoting Valentines Day. If you have been heeding some of my advice, you have a large address book of patient e-mails. I send an e-mail to my patients at least twice a month. Yes, you can purchase professional chiropractic e-mails that look sleek and are even sent for you. But, you can also send an e-mail just like the one you are reading, simple on MS Word and sent out either via your ISP or spend a little to have a company, like I do, collect your addresses and send your e-mail with one stroke of the keyboard. If you have a patient e-mail address book, you should let them know that you have a promotion for the holiday and what better way for them to help others, Heart to Heart, than a visit to their chiropractor. This active referral campaign tweaked and fitted by you for your office is just a start. Next, a few extra flowers, a set of wall posters or Valentines material found in any decorative store will highlight that something special is happening and opens the discussion between your staff and your patients that together the office is available for their family and friends. This also stimulates referrals and often opens a discussion concerning what chiropractic can do and what you can do for them. Remember, the low back patient probably has no idea that chiropractic can help headaches, carpal tunnel, etc. Any promotion that stimulates discussion is a win. So, get busy, Valentines is next week and by extending the promotion throughout February gives you plenty of time to build from within and from the community. Heart to Heart .. I appreciate yıall ..
