They are simple to teach and easy to remember. Teachers can demonstrate these techniques without having to touch students. Tsing or Jinwell points are acupuncture points on the cuticles of all the fingers and toes. They are often used when a person doesn't know what else to do. Massage each cuticle for 10-30 seconds. If the point hurts massage 30 seconds. Don't forget to do the toes, too! Make a fist. Now notice the lines on the baby fingers just below the knuckle that spot is SI3. Tapping those lines stimulates the Small Intestine Meridian or energy plexus releasing the feelings of vulnerability, vivid dreams, nightmares or feelings of being lost or insecure. Tap or rub SI3 on both hands for 30-60 seconds. If one wakes from nightmares, tap SI3, get a drink of water, turn over the pillow and jump right back into bed. Tap SI3 until you fall asleep. That's all there is to it. We thank Dr. Richard Callahan for this method. There are three other sleepy points: one below the breast bone or xyphoid process, one at the wrist line on the baby finger side and the last one is between the knuckles of the index and middle fingers on the back of the hand. Tap or massage these for 30-60 seconds. Sweet dreams. :) The NeuroEmotional release process, developed by Dr. Scott Walker of NET Inc., Encinitas, CA, is easy to do. Kneel on the floor or bed, wrap the fingers of the right hand around the wrist of the left hand so that your index finger touches the base of the thumb. Place the palm of the left hand on your forehead. Now place your elbows on the floor or bed by your knees. You will be in the yoga posture called Child Pose. With the left hand on the forehead visualize, hear, think about, taste or smell elements of the nasty traumatic feelings. Stay in that posture until you feel better. Maybe up to 10 minutes. If tears flow, let them. Too stiff to get into that posture? Then sit or stand and place your elbows on a table or wall. The elbows need to have weight on them to be most effective. The Bubble is a method developed by Dr. Lee Gibson, Ph.D., of MasterPeace Institute in Huntington Beach, CA. Visualize, feel or think about a hugh bubble, as big as the world or bigger. Place the nasty thoughts, feelings, visions, tastes, smells, pictures, people, buildings, planes, tears and fears into that bubble. If it isn't big enough for all of your feelings make the bubble bigger. You can make all that Feel-bad disappear into a point of pure light or energy by POPPING! that bubble. Dis-integrate it. ZAP IT! By placing your fingers at your solar plexus below your breastbone or xyphoid. Watch, feel or sense that bubble disappear to a point of light energy. Now take that point of light and make it a SPECIAL color that is magic to make things feel better, now see that light grow BIG. Have it re-integrate or appear as a protective net over your self and your loved ones. Don't forget to surround your pets and the people of the world and out to the ends of the Universe. You can hold some of the magic light in your heart. Whenever you feel bad you can surround your self with it. Or you can make a new bubble and fill it with the Feel-bad and pop it, dis-integrating it to a point of light, re- growing the light to be a protective covering. Now let's go Marching! Cross-crawl techniques outlined by Doman and Delacato is basically marching in place. Loudly play matching music like that of John Philip Sousa. March in place or around the area, march forward, backward and sideways. This process balances the brain. Walking has the same effect. Drink water, eliminate surgery foods which make the body feel bad. Eat vegetables (yah, I know! Yick!) and fruit to make the mind and body feel better. Frozen grapes are great!!! :) Please share these methods with your family and friends. We thank you for sharing. Your are a healer too. These processes have been used to treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, trauma, fear and phobias.
