Q: The issue I have is appearing to pushy or turning someone off by a salesman approach. I tend to be very shy as it is so it takes a lot toget out there and approach people or do a screening. Once I get comfortable it gets better but until then I put it off. I really must say your book is a God send. thanks A: If you have a introverted nature and feel uncomfortable "selling" chiropractic .. then don't. It only become a sale when you want to sell something .. if you plan to share chiropractic with others it becomes a totally different animal. If you consider sharing the message with a family member or another student .. and speak from the heart .. one on one .. it comes across with honesty and integrity .. not a sale. Practice this .. create a script with analogies and some easy to understand data and it'll be a cinch. Usually this will get things started
