Attitude Adjustment 10-19-00 From: Dr. Pat Gayman .. Executive Mentor www.Empower-U.com 775-265-3631 Plans or "No plan is a plan to fail." The Holiday Season is upon us! Yes, it¼s true. So how are you going to approach it? Ignoring it is not really an option because you must isolate yourself from the world to really ignore it and that¼s pretty hard. You could approach it with dread and delay moving into it until the last minute or never get there at all then feel guilty and sad. You could wait until it¼s really close and then try to do all your shopping, partying and maintain your usual busy schedule until you are totally åstressed out.¼ Or, you could try this idea: 1.. Sit and contemplate for awhile on all you have to be grateful for. 2.. Consider the people in your life, family, friends and the people you work with and make note of how even their most negative or irritating qualities have helped you to become the person you are today. Then tell them how much you appreciate them. 3.. Write a letter of gratitude to someone you love. 4.. Visualize your perfect Holiday Season. 5.. Make a list of gifts you really want to give (don¼t let anyone åshould¼ on you) and then make a budget to go with them. Start shopping now. 6.. If you have any creative ability make some gifts and know that they may be the most appreciated of all. 7.. Use your time planner well and realistically, leave some time for rest. Organize your work so you can hold off on any new projects until the Holidays are over. Complete all that you can as soon as possible. 8.. Plan for the glow of love, peace and gratitude to come from you and back to you. Dr. Pat Gayman Executive Mentor www.Empower-U.com 775-265-3631
