AT WHAT NUMBER OF PATIENTS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND A SECOND CA?
CURRENTLY I SEE AROUND 150-200 DO YOU THINK I HAVE REACHED

A:

Critical Mass .. let¼s see .. I guess that¼s when you feel you are overwhelmed .. have you 
reached that point yet? If so .. will another staff member work in areas that lighten 
everyone¼s load .. including yours (read my recent e-mail titled micro-management (found 
on my webpage: http://www.mindspring.com/~chirosmart under Previous E-mails) .. or 
will she get in the way because you are trying to always find work for her to do.

Therefore .. if you are ready to cross train your staff and have someone on full-time PR 
and Marketing .. as well as internal functions .. help with insurance relations .. assists with 
patient education and services .. then I say .. yes .. another CA (full or PT) can get you to 
the next level.

But .. be sure you delegate and create job descriptions and educate them well. If you have
