HOW DO YOU MANAGE A MARKETING PERSON IN YOUR OFFICE:

New doctors or doctors with a limiting budget may want to start the marketing by 
themselves at first. If you understand how marketing works you can teach anyone 
to do marketing soon after. But after a while it becomes difficult because it  is a 
full time job that occupies time during business hours and very often during the 
week end . Hiring someone makes perfect sense. The expense is worth the return. 
If you spend 500.00 dollars per week and your return is 10,000 dollars per week , 
it's a no brainer.

A marketer must understand your product . He must be well educated on 
chiropractic. You must spend time educating that person.  At first you have to give 
him or her directions as to what to do. There are so many ways you can market 
your office.

1/ contact  professionals near your office such as MD's , Dentists, Massage 
therapist, Acupuncturists .

2/  Marketing businesses ,organizations and churches near your office can be very 
profitable. In your office your marketing person can sit down with patients and  
ask them to help him get you in their business for talks , workshop on different 
topics or healthfairs  , or their place of worship  or the organization they belong to. 
For our office the one that has been the most successful has been the churches our 
patients belong to. We have generated a tremendous amount of Health Fairs and 
workshops which has brought I hundreds or thousands of new patients.
                     
3/  An other way to contact the churches is  to contact a company called 
infousa.com and get a mailing list  from them for  a minimal fee they will provide 
you with a mailing of all churches within a certain mile radius from your office 
.Either 5 or 10 miles . My office has 400 churches in a 5 mile radius and 800 
churches in a 10 mile radius from my office. I devised a letter  offering my 
services for workshops, series of talks and healthfair. We got a tremendous 
response  from those letters , if you follow up with a phone call, you will do even 
better.
