Internal marketing is much easier, because it all happens within our office walls. External marketing is yucky stuff like screenings and paying for advertising. I had traveled so much this summer to speak in California, Australia, and Canada, I found my practice down 20%. My new patients were way down for several weeks in a row. It was obvious to me that I would have to increase my external marketing to get the practice back up quickly.
