From: Dennis Perman, DC .. The Masters .. Masters9@aol.com Dear Doctor: The turn of the millennium rapidly approaches, and it's up to us to decide if it is to be something memorable and special, or just the culmination of a rowdy Prince tune. While I must admit I'd prefer to shy away from anything too gaudy as far as celebration, it does make some sense, in these final few pre-Y2K weeks, to consider some basic ideas, to re-center and prepare for the next chapter of our history. If there is anything you promised yourself you would pay attention to, change, fix, develop, or otherwise create by year's end, your time is growing short. Exactly when were you planning to get it done? Better use this streamlined technique for quick manifestation of goals. Get yourself into a relaxed, grounded state, by looking slightly upward, breathing deeply and evenly, and putting your attention on the space between your thoughts. Center your energy low in your abdomen. You'll soon begin to feel strong yet not tense, and when this occurs, focus on your intention -- in other words, think about what you desire. Release your attachment to receiving the end product of the intention -- just have a sense of certainty and comfort, knowing it or something even better will show up in your life at the right time for you. Come out of this pleasant exercise and write down your intention, and allow any ideas about taking action to flow through your mind onto a piece of paper. Write down the behaviors, beliefs, and actions that would be necessary on your part to make that intention manifest in reality. Then, try on those beliefs, visualize yourself doing those behaviors, and boldly take those specific actions. Kick yourself into a high gear! It's a sprint at this point -- push yourself to take massive action now! If not now, when? Begin right now! This can only lead toward the realization of your desire, or something even better. If this sounds too simple, then recognize that success teachers from all corners of the world and all eras have described this very process, and it always comes out about the same -- think of what you want in great detail, congruently expect it without stress or doubt, decide how you have to show up and what you have to do, and do it, joyfully and peacefully correcting your course until you achieve what you want. This takes on even greater significance when you consider the timing -- if there are things you want to accomplish in the Twentieth Century, there's no time like now to prove this method to yourself. Join those of us who acknowledge our role in the success process -- by tapping into natural law, we can help ourselves and others to enjoy all the glory of our world. The ten greatest two letter words I know -- if it is to be, it is up to me. Take responsibility, get yourself into an outstanding state in this last month of the millennium, and do something you've wanted to do. Hold yourself to the highest standard, take action, and you'll be delighted with the results. Dennis Perman DC, for The Masters P.S. Looking for a holiday gift for a chiropractor?
