DC wants to create a multi-DC practice in NYC .. IC needed in downtown Atlanta .. For sale, portable lead sheild and TyTron C-3000 .. DC is looking for workshop scripts .. DC is looking for used NUCCA equipment E-mail message this week .. Contact Every action involves a reaction. We should be accountable for our actions and the deeds that transpire will result in consequences either positive or negative. For example, if I were to visit your office and play the role of a new patient, what impression would I leave with? Would I feel comfortable with staff knowledge, necessary paperwork, consultation technique, examination procedures, report of findings and your recommendations? That first contact is crucial. If I came to your office as a consultant or efficiency expert, would I be impressed that redundancy was kept to a minimum, staff time was used to the tee, every inch of the office was utilized effectively, procedures were in place to capture the minds and hearts of new and established patient and referrals or word of mouth was your ticket to continued success? Would I feel that you reached me as a chiropractor and that I knew exactly why I made the correct choice coming to you and to chiropractic? If I were advising you on promotion and asked you to contact members of your community to open the flood-gates for new patients, would you know where to start? If I told you to create some excitement within the confines of your office, what programs would be implemented, who would be responsible, what would you need and what is the plan and the goals .. oh by the way, how soon can you get back to me with answers? There are so many levels of responsibility that came along with your license. First, you are an expert, a responsible doctor, a compassionate ear with trusted hands. Second you are an adviser, a responsible advocate of health and wellness, a compassionate individual that reaches out to others to free their imprisoned expression of life with the trust that the body will heal itself without interference. Third, you are a doctor with a gift. Everyday we meet people, especially patients that also meet people at work, home, sports venues, social outings, etc. The level of individual and collective contact is immense. A letter or e-mail here, a workshop or discussion there is all it takes to spread the good news about Health and Wellness with chiropractic care. Do you agree? You don't need an efficiency expert or a promotional guru, you just need to contact people with your message. They in turn, if turned on by your message, will turn on others. Hone procedures, rid redundancy, place in motion increased patient communication, activate your community, explode your practice with excitement and service and wait, just build up the momentum and they will come. Talk about it and wallow about it and they will pass you by for the doctor down the street. Just go out and make the contact Have a Great Day Dr. M PS .. if you are clueless to make the correct start, I advise you to go to seminars, hire a coach or consultant and purchase the books and tapes from our professional vendors.
