With Y2K a day away everyone is concerned about life as we know it. You 
will either be reading this preparing your Y2K bunker .. stashing bottled 
water and storing dehydrated foods and being sure your portable radio has 
fresh batteries to follow the events with Art Bell or you have survived the 
ordeal and hopefully life will have carried on as usual. Well .. personally .. I 
hope it will not carry on as usual. Y?

Y remain the same
Y not stretch your personal comfort zone
Y contain your enthusiasm .. let it soar
Y not tell the chiropractic story to more people .. especially your patients
Y be passive about the predicament of our species
Y not expand your level of technical knowledge
Y do you allow others to manipulate your day .. take charge
Y not plant PR seeds and cultivate your Marketing Farm
Y allow insurance to dictate your care schedules .. tell the patients what they 
need
Y not form networking groups and expand your patient base
Y do we fight amongst each other over the smallness of issues .. think totality
Y not get together with other DC廣 for sharing mastermind sessions
Y look at the past to guide your future .. you never walk in the same river 
twice
Y not have local CAs meet for quarterly mentoring group meetings
Y are you complacent about the status quo .. there is more 
Y not have goals to meet and action steps to reach them
Y complain when steering new directions should be your next course 
Y not be a mentor to some new DC廣 or share some ideas for those that seek it
Y accept the patient base you have when so many more need your attention
Y not create a new practice within your present one .. expand with families 
Y do we always find excuses when going with the flow often is best
Y not spend time .. money .. energy and attend seminars .. listen to tapes and 
read

Best of Wishes as we enter a new year .. best of success and potential 
May we all prosper and expand by Sharing and Caring

Using Bilateral Scales:

Bilateral Weight Scale Info ....
Sears has high-tech scales ... electronic with pressure transducers on all four 
corners .. life-time lithium batteries ... $55.  Same innards as those being sold 
to DC's for twice the price (or more).  Tip: when you buy them, try several 
while in the store.  Put each scale in exactly the same place on the floor ... 
weigh yourself ... make sure you get two that give you the same weight 
within a 1 pound tolerance (you'll find this 
difference with any model of scale that is not a laboratory grade instrument 
selling for
