Q: Dr. M, I have really been aggressive in the area where I am independent contracting. Believe me, even for me, it isn't easy. I have called people, set up talks, gone door to door etc... and in the first week have only three people to show for it. It is tough. But I am keeping positive. Is there something else that I can do besides send flyers door to door introducing myself as this is not working right now that great. How about advertising--- and advertising with what? There are tons of chiros in the area, but it still should not matter. I gave a talk yesterday and of the five people there---three of them were under present chiro care from other docs. Great, but not for me. SO the journey continues. Let me know if there is any other things that I can do besides door to door to get the ball rolling. Thanks A: It isn't easy .. persistence and patience is the key. At this stage of the game you are literally planting seeds and aking the cobwebs out of the community. This is the time to look through the second have of every chapter of the Smart Start Book and each week implement the concepts per chapter .. one at a time. Calling the local companies .. gathering the data list and create the business log .. getting the alliances together with the local spas and health food stores .. the attorney's amd medics .. I know you read the book .. but when you plany strong seeds the harvest will be much greater .. don't skip steps Have a Great Day Dr. M
