I have a question for you. I want to approach a minor league baseball 
team in my area about being a team Chiropractor. Do you have any 
suggestions about doing this?

Thanks for the e-mail. If you were to approach any professional 
group with a hand full of data it¼ll make the presentation and 
outcome much better. Life University has a very active Sports 
Department and even has a master¼s program in Sports health with 
subjects for coaches etc. I would contact them at: 1-800-543-3253 
and ask if they can send you any data that would show the benefit of 
chiropractic care with sports team. Remember .. the results of your 
phone call is only as good as the receptionist answering the phone. 
So .. if at first you don¼t succeed .. ask to speak with someone else. 
Dr. John Downes is very active in sports at the school .. ask for his 
e-mail address or phone number. You can also check the school¼s 
webpage: www.life.edu and search the teachers and see if Dr. Downes 
has an e-mail address 

Also .. Today¼s Chiropractic Magazine has years worth of stories and 
cover pages concerning athletes .. you may wish to contact them and 
see if they ever ran an article concerning this. The can be reached at:
