Shared by Dr. Gorush at: healing@richsoffice.com Dr. M In response to your small town article... This may be of help. I've just recently moved after practicing for 5 1/2 years in the semi-isolated town of Haines, Alaska, with approximately 2,500 residents. The next nearest town of size are Juneau, a 4 1/2 hour ferry ride away, or a drive to Whitehorse, Ukon Territory in about the same time. I did have a few clients from each of these communities, though no real "regulars". I found the best Marketing by far was to have a C.O.W. "Chiropractic opportunity week" every 6 months to jumpstart community chiro- awareness. These C.O.W.s were advertised by mailing a nicely prepared, proffesionally printed pamphlet directly to every mailbox in town, in my case it cost @ $300. The pamphlet included testimonials from past and present clients, a description of my service and misssion, as well as an offer to receive a complete introduction to the practice, including adjustment at a special fee. This promotion consistantly yeilded the necessary boost to keep things growing at a pace that allowed me to serve over 1/3 of my entire community on a regular basis. There we lots of other little things but this was the single biggest yeild. Hope this helps.
