Q: Dr. M, You are definately right, the fleas and screenings are getting old. PI is where it is at. Yeah, it is a lot of paperwork etc..., but in my state we have what is called" no fault" law. We get paid immediately no matter if they were responsible or not. You can help folks and get paid 100% if managed well. That's pretty good concidering all this new stuff going on up here with these blue cross treatment plans etc... I definately want to start targeting attorneys. The question is, how do you determine who is and who isn't a good one and where to start getting them on your side especially if they are already buddied up with another chiro. Last week was my best week ever. I saw 71 patients this week. I was really happy with this. But it is going to go down as I am cutting people back on care. I have got to do something as the plug on the tub is being lifted now and patients are draining down in their care. Alliances, I agree, is where it is at. A: Thanks for the e-mail .. you are doing well .. this is an up and down business. Begin asking your patients to complete surveys trying to determine where they work and go to church and who they can introduce you for workshops and health fairs. As far as attorney and workshops .. pick up my books on this .. the PI one is great and if you learn the workshop stuff and possibly work with another DC you'll get many attorney's on your side. Remember .. attorney's only make money when their clients have medical bills .. convenience is the key. They might have an alliance with other DC's but your office may be easier for a client or two to go to. They never know unless you tell the. where you are and you know the lingo and game.
