Q: I am a newly licensed D.C. and I am working for a closed practice multidisciplinary clinic. Soon I would like to venture out on my own. I am trying to come up with a list of lecture topics that have public interest appeal, and where to research them. With everything available in chiropractic, do you know of at any pre-fabricate lectures that could be expanded upon and used to save the time and energy of this research. A: Thanks for your e-mail. There are a number of pre-packaged lecture programs both on slides and CD. Stress management .. ergonomics .. wellness and even personal injury programs geared to attorneys. I do not have ready access to these although I can direct you to a few. First .. I often teach at the Fernandez Seminars in Atlanta. He has guest speakers that offer their programs for sale and I have seen an extensive lecture program using CD with Power Point .. I think. I can't remember the name but the Fernandez group has a book store and I am almost sure they can tell you more and offer to sell it for you. As far as the price .. I am not sure but their were clear notes etc. You can call the Fernandez group at 1- 800-882-4476 and ask for Tierney .. if she is not there possibly someone else can help. David Singer's program has an extensive slide lecture series on many topics. I have used these in the past. I am not sure of their number but check their webpage out. Go to my webpage and choose weblinks and then seminars or consultants and the link to his webpage is there. I would be amiss to not mention my books. The Workshop Workbook would be great for you as well as the PI Workshop Workbook. Check my webpage to purchase any of my books: www.chirosmart.net
