Q: Dear Dr. Margolies, I am attempting to send my first edition of an e-mail newsletter to attorneys. I have tried numerous times with the advice from Earthlink tech support of trying different things, and to no avail. What they are telling me now is that they are being kicked out because Earthlink doesn't allow any more than 20 or so at a time to be sent. It is part of their "anti-spam" program. I have about 150 attorneys to send to. Is there a program or some other way? Any help would be greatly appreciated. A: Thanks for your e-mail .. I had a similar problem with AOL early on until I spoke with a supervisor and got on a special broadcast e-mail list. In other words .. once my e-mails are sent and they somehow see that I am on the approved list they let them go through. I recommend you speak with someone and advise them of the contents of the e-mails and possibly send one and hopefully they will let it go through. Realize that unsolicited e-mails is considered spam. If they continue to not allow you to send your broadcast e-mails then either find another isp or possibly call some of these attorneys and get their approval to accept your e-mail newsletter and ask their paralegal to send you an okay via e-mail .. save these and the e-mail addresses and send about 20 or so to Earthlink if this would help. By the way .. please include me on your list for these e-mail newsletters. Good Luck
