Grand Opening Program I'm Dr. Sherry Meeks in Milledgeville, GA, and have recently opened a new office with great success. My partner and I had an office in Savannah, GA prior to moving here, and didn't start out with the bang there that we did here. So here's the difference: promotion. We did surveys in our local mall, in front of a local grocery store, and rented a booth in a small business expo. We also joined the local chamber of commerce, who came out and did a ribbon-cutting for us. This gave us free newspaper coverage. We did not carry SAM units or many other props on our survey trips. Just a couple of clipboards, a spine, and a degeneration model from BackTalk. Meeting people was wonderful. They loved us, and we had fun. Promoting is the key to get people in the door, but you MUST have a quality report of findings in order to keep them when you get them.
