Q:

I have a question in regard to setting up wellness programs and/or
screenings with companies.  In my town both hospitals provide 
companies with health fairs and screenings.  They are already in the 
door in many of the places I would like to bring a more natural 
health care team.

How do I approach or word my cause with these companies?  How do 
I get them to see that they are limiting the message their employees 
are getting by only letting medical companies provide this service.

Thanks for the e-mail and sending your letter .. I look forward to 
reading it. A few of the DC's attending have contacted me already 
and I am always willing to assist with any questions.

First .. a health fair is usally a one time event .. ergonomic education 
is all year round. Therefore .. follow the outline to meet your 
corporate neighbors and begin the letter writing and phone 
campaigns. 

Second .. call the public relations department of the hospital. They 
are usually lay people with no political agenda. Tell them you heard 
they have a community outreach progam with proactive steps for 
local corporations such as health fairs and screenings. Is it possible 
to have your office included .. be sure to let them know what you 
intend to do there (postural stress screenings).

Have your wife make the phone calls and possibly write a short 
script of what to say and then role play it via the phone .. be 
prepared to have counter resplies.

Also .. send a letter to their emergency room to network
