The folowing was sent to us by Garry W. Baldwin, DC. He had problems with a specific computer program. If interested in the name as well as the name of his present system .. please e-mail him at: GWBChiro@aol.com So many articles are written about technology in the chiropractors office. All of it is based on how wonderful it is and how much more productive we will be when we have it. Here is a tip to all your readers. If you want to avoid a great deal of frustration and save lots of money, make sure your software provider has the capability to support your system. I spent $50,000 on a system by _____ (Software and hardware included) Our office tried for 11 months to get the system to work. Ultimately the company was unable to provide support and I had to shut the system down. I just spent more on a new system that works. Thank God I could use the hardware, or I would have had to shoot myself based on the embarrassment factor. Please tell your readers to hold on to their money until they are assured there is support. With all the bells and whistles these companies like _____ sell, they all fail to mention support. Without support, your system is useless, and as I found out, it is the intangible no one talks about. I would love in put from the field. Garry W. Baldwin GWBChiro@aol.com
