Q-Link Pendant .. Parker Phoenix Network .. DC in France needs equipment .. DC needs information concerning Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy: E-mail message: Blessings Along with thanksgiving .. we should be able to count on a multitude of blessings. No matter what status of life you think you are in .. never stop counting your blessings. Being in the healthcare arena .. providing conservative care .. awakening the basic impulse of life itself with each adjustment .. spreading the chiropractic story to your community provides you with many people that thank and bless you daily. My being able to reach you via these e-mails .. having the chance to touch the lives of students I've been fortunate to teach also offers me many additional blessings .. and I think of this often. I also think about what I would be doing if not a chiropractor. My life has been blessed again with a variety of interesting vocations .. musician .. husband .. father .. chiropractor .. instructor .. writer . I've traveled the world and paid my dues to society in many ways .. so I have much to be thankful for and again many blessings have been bestowed upon me. The other day I was discussing a number of issues with a patient when suddenly she began to cry. She was so happy to have found me and chiropractic and just couldn't say or express herself with enough thanks. Not long before this another patient told me about his two previous lumbar surgeries and how he continued to suffer and be restricted in daily activities before seeing a chiropractor. Between these two discussions I was talking to another patient .. I haven't seen her in over a year .. who has recently complained of chronic shoulder pain. She went to her medical physician and he was unclear why she had pain but thought gall bladder surgery would help. Yes .. they did find some stones .. but .. who is to say. Her stomach has been sensitive for weeks following this surgery and accompanying adhesions .. they can't explain why .. and her shoulder pain still remains. She too was astounded to feel better with just a few adjustments .. and her words rang so true .. "maybe I didn't need that surgery." I'm not sure .. but I'm sure she would have been a lot better off if she came here first and surgery was the last resort. Doctor .. how many similar tales do you hear weekly .. daily? I know these are just a few .. most folks are so thankful to have finally found hope for chronic conditions and help for those acute episodes that bring them to your office. How often we forget that what is routine to us .. is almost a miracle to others. How many blessings will you be counting today? I have a friend who is an emergency room physician. After just a few weeks on the job the most dramatic and gut wrenching patient wheeled in becomes routine. The gun shots .. guts exposed .. shattered bones .. yells of pain and all the immense responsibilities related to this kind of work becomes part of the job. Soon .. only the most severe cases become a challenge as you become numb to the grossness of it all. I hope never to reach this point .. even at our tame level. But rather than being numb to the tragedies of life .. we chiropractors often become numb to the miracles we help release with each and every one that we adjust. I realize many of these e-mails are read by chiropractors who feel that we have an amazing effect on pain relief only .. that's fine. others reading this feel we help connect the hip bone to the universe .. that too is fine. Somewhere in between is the majority of us .. coming to the office like a good solider .. ready to deliver the care necessary to start a process .. making every effort to ethically tell the chiropractic story .. reaching for the patient we see today and those we wish to serve tomorrow .. we do this because we have collectively been blessed to be able to serve .. don't forget this .. and count your blessing each day. Have a Great Holiday Season Dr. M Autism and chiropractic care information wanted: A local service group that teaches rural folks how to deal with/help children with Autism has contacted me to ask me to speak to their group. I've seen some wonderful changes with some Autistic and severely multiple challenged folks using Network Spinal Analysis, but would love to have anything published that documents or explains these marvelous changes that I could use in my presentation. All leads are welcome. I'm scheduled to speak in early December. e-mail reply to: (H Rice DC@aol.com) Independent Contractor wanted in Buford Georgia: IC wanted for practice In Gwinnett County, GA. Parker Phoenix Network: If you have been looking for information concerning Dr. Karl Parker .. you can now read his comments and those of others on his webpage called the Parker Phoenix Network. Take a look at the URL: http://www.try-chiropractic.com/parker DC in France needs a an old IR camera or similar device: Bonjour! Above and beyond the simple infrared scanning or thermocouple devices which I have used in the past - Thermoscribe, NervoScope, NCM, Dermathermograph, Synchrotherm, Visitherm I, Liquid Crystal contact monitoring - I wish to be able to monitor the thermographically indicated sympathetic response full spine in real - or near real- time. For this I need a stand alone system a thermal scan device. My Visitherm finally gave up the ghost. Does anyone have an old IR camera or similar device that they are no longer using and that they would be willing to sell for something less than an upper and lower extremity? I can probably go as high as $3000. AND if anyone has 2 (count 'em- two!!!) such devices, we could donate one to the Institut Francaise de Chiropratique in Paris and really get a neat little collaborational project going! I already have a project of donating my liquid crystal machine to them - a machine which was given to ME by Dr. David Leaf of AK fame!!! My Preference in the matter would be to get my hands on a DI-2000 unit which seems to have been devised for the Chiropractic Office.
