All points bulletin As noted above .. I received in the mail a well worn copy of my Smart Start Book. It was sent to me as my address adorns the back cover. I would love to send this book to its rightful owner .. and use this forum to send a worldwide all points bulletin (the TV police term to find someone) so the DC who lost the book can get it back and use it as it was intended. You should also give some thought about sending an all points bulletin to your patients who have dropped out of care prematurely. Review your new patient log and determine how many patients have discontinued care prior to receiving the proper care they need. If they took the time and felt the concern to make an appointment it is only fair and proper that we provide the care. Although fault .. for the lack of a better term .. may ultimately rest with the patient .. it is often the doctor who did not create value or understanding that allowed the patient to leave. This is a perfect time of year to begin the review process and recapture or recall these people. This holiday period is symbolized with both joy and stress .. often with deep reflection. It is a time for caring and giving and sending cards and wishes. As you review your patient list .. determine who had fallen through the cracks due to poor patient management and/or doctor staff inability to get the chiropractic message to them. Send them a holiday card and wish them a peaceful and joyful holiday and a Healthy New Year. Also .. invite them .. in your best Caring is Sharing mode .. to begin the New Year with a complimentary evaluation and "tune up" adjustment. Get them in the door and provide them with appreciation .. understanding .. and service they may have missed before. I am in the process of creating my next three hour program for the Fernandez Discipline Seminar in Atlanta .. January ä I will be going over Corporate Community Relations including OSHA corporate regulations, Ergonomic Workshops and Safety Evaluations. This will stimulate me and I hope all those who attend my class to begin an all points bulletin within their community. There is a wealth of potential patients waiting for you .. they just need to know you exist. I also will be giving a two hour program for the CA .. they are often our eyes and ears and can assist with practice growth with the correct tools. They will receive a wealth of action steps to assist them with both patient and community relations. Let us not forget that often the all points bulleting begins at home. After completing a 24 hour Ph probe test it was determined that she had over 241 episodes of acid reflux in a 24 hour period, some episodes lasting over 5 minutes. Doctors say if surgery is not performed she will suffer from permanent lung damage, as well as pneumonia.
