In a light, "we're just taking a poll of our patients today" tone of voice ask, "What do you think is the greatest myth or misconception the general public has about chiropractic?" Take notes! What they're about to reveal was their greatest myth or misconception. Once they reveal something, ask the follow up question. "How do you explain that that's not true?" Their ability to supply a compelling explanation gives you a clue as to how successful they'll be when referring others to your office! Don't like their answer? Do a little coaching. "When I have to explain that, what I say is..."
